The installation is a collection of simple interconnected forms. All components of the artistic process are exhibited such as the mould, the model and the cast. This raises questions surrounding the hierarchy of objects and the value we project upon them. The work celebrates the revival of the handmade versus the globalised mass-produced object inviting the viewer to engage with the sculptures on display to connect with the making process.

The objects are inspired by chimney pots, whose presence and diversity are unique in the English urban landscape and are significant symbols of England's industrial past.
